Aisha Somtochukwu Yesufu
Outspoken civic activist, co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls movement, and one of the most recognisable voices for democratic accountability in Nigeria.

Background
Aisha Somtochukwu Yesufu is a Nigerian socio-political activist and businesswoman, best known as a co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (#BBOG) movement, which pressed for the rescue of the schoolgirls abducted from Chibok in 2014.
Her steady, unflinching advocacy across protests, town halls and social media has made her one of Nigeria's most visible defenders of democratic rights, government accountability, and the dignity of ordinary citizens — particularly women and young people.
She continues to mobilise civic energy alongside the NUPO coalition, amplifying the case for credible elections, citizen-led oversight, and a Nigeria that works for everyone.
Stand with the movement.
