Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nigeria United for Peter Obi (“NUPO”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use this platform.
Information we collect
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and the profile details you provide (username, state, local government, diaspora status, and avatar). We also store records of your activity on the platform — groups you join, events you RSVP to, messages you send, and similar.
How we use it
We use your information to operate the platform: to authenticate you, show you relevant groups and events, deliver messages and notifications, coordinate volunteer activity, and improve the service. We send transactional emails (such as sign-in links) and, where you opt in, campaign updates.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the platform (for example, our email provider and hosting/database providers), and where required by law.
Your choices
You can update your profile at any time, unsubscribe from non-essential emails, and request deletion of your account by contacting us.
